With over 20 years of experience in thermoforming and blister packaging, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality PS heavy-gauge blister trays for hair dryers and accessories.
Due to the bulky size of hair dryers, these trays require significant stretching during the forming process, resulting in very deep cavities. This presents two common challenges that most ordinary thermoforming manufacturers struggle with:
1）Visible stretch marks on the tray surface, which compromise the premium look.
2）Thinning at the bottom of the cavities, caused by uneven stretching during deep drawing.
Our decades of professional expertise allow us to overcome these issues effectively, delivering trays with a smooth, uniform surface and consistent wall thickness—even in deep-cavity designs.
A quick technical insight: When the cavity depth exceeds 10cm (approximately 4 inches), the original sheet thickness is significantly diluted. For example, a standard 120丝 (1.2mm) PET or PS sheet will see its finished product thickness reduced to around 60丝 (0.6mm) at the deepest points. This natural thinning effect requires precise process control—something we have mastered over the years.
